Laromer® PE 8981 by BASF is a liquid polyester-modified acrylic resin for use in energy-curable resin formulations for coating applications. It is highly reactive and provides good flexibility, low viscosity, and good sanding properties. <br>

It is soluble in many solvents commonly used in the coatings industry, except aliphatic hydrocarbons. </li>
<li>It can be homogeneously mixed with most unsaturated acrylic resins, including other Laromer® grades. </li>
<li>It is highly flexible, resistant to scratching, and exhibits excellent sanding properties. </li>
<li>It is used in EB- and UV-curable coatings for wood, wood products, paper, and plastics. </li>
<li>Laromer® PE 8981 is also recommended for interior and exterior general industrial metal coatings, interior and exterior plastic component coatings, and interior and exterior wood coatings for flooring, furniture, and millwork applications. </li></ul> Laromer® PO 8996 by BASF is a multifunctional, polymeric amine-modified polyether acrylate for the formulation of radiation-curable coatings and printing inks. It provides moderate curing speed, low viscosity, and good thinning properties in emission-free UV-curable spray coatings. <br>

It is fully compatible with common monomers and oligomers, including epoxy, polyester, and urethane acrylates. </li>
<li>It is soluble in esters, ketones, and aromatic hydrocarbons. </li>
<li>It offers high reactivity together with good film flexibility. </li>
<li>It is an excellent binder for radiation-curable spray coatings where fast curing speed, high gloss, and low yellowing are required. </li>
<li>It can also be used as a thinner in combination with other amine-modified or unmodified resins and/or solvents. </li>
<li>It is used in radiation-curable coatings and printing inks for wood, wood-based products, paper, and plastics. </li>

It provides minimal yellowing and good toughness. It is is free of reactive diluent. <br>

<li>It exhibits balanced properties and can be used either as a sole binder or in combination with other unsaturated acrylic resins. </li>
<li>Laromer® PE 55 F is used in electron-beam and UV-curable printing inks and coatings for wood, wood products, plastics, and paper. </li></ul> Laromer® TPGDA by BASF is an acrylic acid ester used as a reactive monomer. It contains two polymerizable acrylate groups per molecule, enabling it to form copolymers. It provides good adhesion, good reactivity, and good pigment dispersion stability. <br>

It can form copolymers with acrylic or methacrylic acids and their salts, amides, esters, vinyl acetate, and styrene. </li>
<li>It functions as a crosslinking component and reactive diluent in energy-curable inks and coatings, becoming part of the polymer structure during curing. </li>
<li>It is used for energy-curable printing inks for flexographic, gravure, offset, lithographic, digital, and silk-screen applications. </li>
<li>Laromer® TPGDA is recommended for pigment dispersions, overprint varnishes for commercial and publication applications, interior/exterior general industrial metal coatings, interior/exterior machine or equipment metal coatings, and interior/exterior wood coatings for floor, furniture, and millwork applications. </li></ul> Laromer® EA 9138 by BASF is a high performance 75% standard epoxy acrylate in 25% tripropylene glycol diacrylate (TPGDA). It is used in radiation & UV-curable coatings for furniture and flooring industry as well as for overprint varnishes and printing inks. Laromer® EA 9138 exhibits high hardness, high reactivity and very good chemical resistance. Laromer® LR 8986 by BASF is a high viscosity epoxide acrylate. It is free of reactive diluents and provides good chemical resistance and good scratch resistance. It can be diluted with polyether acrylates to formulate monomer-free topcoats, primers, and sealers. Laromer® LR 8986 is used in radiation-curable coatings and printing inks for wood, wood-based products, paper, and plastics. Laromer® UA 19T by BASF is a low reactivity aliphatic urethane acrylate. It is preferably used in combination with other polyether/polyester acrylates, urethane acrylates, and epoxy acrylates. It is diluted with 35% TPGDA. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It gives low yellowing, good adhesion to difficult substrates and very good flexibility.</li>
<li> It is recommended for use in energy curable flexo, screen, and offset inks and overprint varnishes in combination with other acrylated resins and monomers.</li><li> Laromer® UA 19T is also suitable for the formulation of radiation curable coatings for wood, wood products, paper and plastics.</li></ul> Laromer® UA 9095 AQUA by BASF is a urethane modified acrylic resin for the formulation of radiation curable coatings for wood, wood products, paper and plastics (e.g. PVC). It exhibits very good chemical resistance, high wet transparency, good abrasion resistance and low yellowing. Laromer® UA 9095 AQUA is suitable to make the natural wood colors appear more vibrant. Laromer® UA 9089 by BASF is a tin-free aliphatic urethane acrylate used for the formulations of UV/EB curable coatings onto wood, paper and plastic substrates. It offers a perfect adhesion on plastic substrates (e.g. PVC, LVT) and displays an outstanding weatherstability and weather resistance. Laromer® UA 9089 is tough, diluent-free and highly flexible grade. Laromer® GPTA by BASF is an acrylic ester used as a reactive thinner in radiation-curable coatings. It is a trifunctional, low-viscosity polyether acrylate serving mainly as reactive diluent for oligomers such as epoxy acrylates and polyester acrylates in radiation-curable ink and overprint varnish formulations. It is an excellent film former with moderate shrinkage providing fast curing response and high gloss. Laromer® GPTA shows excellent curing speed, good flexibility while maintaining hardness and outstanding ink/water balance in UV- and electron-beam-curable offset applications.
