Efka® PL 4720 by BASF is a high molecular weight acrylic dispersing agent prepared using controlled free radical polymerization (CFRP) technology. It is designed to stabilize both treated and untreated silica-based matting agents. <br>

It is designed for automotive and industrial coatings segment. It is cross-linkable with isocyanate and melamine-based resin systems. It offers optimal hardness and improved solvent resistance. It exhibits exponentially lower pigment paste viscosity at lower addition levels, exceptional jetness for carbon black pigments and excellent gloss development. Efka® PX 4780 provides highest pendulum hardness (Irgazin Red/ PR 254 paste formulation). Efka® PX 4310 by BASF is a high molecular weight acrylic block copolymer. It acts as a dispersing agent. It possesses low poly-dispersity index. It improves color development with organic pigments and reduces viscosity. It offers high gloss, efficiency in stabilizing pigments and compatibility with many solvent-based resins.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">

<li>It is recommended for resin-free pigment concentrates, resin-free pigment Concentrates (RFPC).</li>
<li>Efka® PX 4310 complies with OSHA, TSCA and EPCRA regulations. It is suitable for optimum dispersion of carbon blacks.</li></ul> Efka® MI 6780 (Old name: Efka® 6780) by BASF is a halogen-free, cationic compound used as a conductivity promoter. Efka® MI 6780 is used in coating systems containing polar and non-polar solvents. It is recommended for electrostatic sprayed paints. Efka® SL 3288 by BASF is an organically modified polysiloxane. Acts as an abrasion resistant, anti-blocking agent, slip control agent, leveling agent and scratch resistance agent. It improves slip, leveling, surface smoothness and soft-touch effect. It shows minimal effect on foam stabilization and intercoat adhesion. Efka® SL 3288 is used in solvent-based, high gloss- and water-based industrial coatings. Recommended dosage is 0.02-0.2% for solvent-wood coatings, 0.05-0.3% for solvent based industrial coatings, 0.05-05% for UV curing system and 0.02-0.2% for water based paint. Efka® PB 2020 by BASF is a solution of silicone-free defoaming substances. It acts as a defoamer. It eliminates foaming and blistering, regardless of whether the air bubbles are caused by the substrate. It is used in printing inks, solvent-based coatings, nitrocellulose lacquers and acid-cured wood finishes especially those applied by curtain coating, two-component polyurethane lacquers. Recommended dosage level of Efka® PB 2020 is 0.1-0.7% on total formulation. Efka® FL 3755 by BASF is polyacrylate-based flow and leveling agent for solvent-free and solvent-borne coatings, especially 2K topcoats. It provides outstanding heat stability across paint systems ranging from 2K PU ambient curing to high temperature baking of acrylic and polyester coil systems. Efka® FL 3755 shows exceptional compatibility with acrylic melamine, alkyd and nitrocellulose lacquer. It’s application area can be extended to UV curing formulations and powder coatings. It is recommended for automotive OEM & refinishes, wood and industrial coatings. Efka® FL 3750 by BASF is polyacrylate-based flow and leveling agent for solvent-free and solvent-borne coatings, especially 2K topcoats. It shows exceptional compatibility with acrylic melamine, alkyd and nitrocellulose lacquer. It provides outstanding heat stability across paint systems ranging from 2K PU ambient curing to high temperature baking of acrylic and polyester coil systems. It’s application area can be extended to UV curing formulations and powder coatings. Efka® FL 3750 is used in automotive OEM & refinishes, wood and industrial coatings. Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.5%. Efka® PA 4401 by BASF is a high molecular weight dispersing agent. It is a modified polyurethane for stabilizing inorganic and organic pigments with strong viscosity depressing properties. It provides high color strength while improving gloss, DOI, and flooding resistance. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It offers broad compatibility across low- to high-polarity systems, including nitrocellulose formulations.</li>
<li>It has a tendency to yellow and gel when combined with chlorinated polymers and solvent-free epoxies.</li>
<li>Efka® PA 4401 is recommended for high-quality solvent-based industrial coatings including automotive topcoats and pigment concentrates.</li>
<li>The recommended dosage is 10% of the oil absorption value for inorganic pigments, 25–50% of the BET surface area for organic pigments, and 20% of the DBP absorption value for carbon blacks.</li></ul>
