Efka® SL 3033 by BASF is an organically modified polysiloxane that acts as a slip-control-, anti-cratering-, abrasion resistant-, anti-blocking- and leveling- agent.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It offers improved levelling and exhibits an excellent wetting power with increased scratch- & abrasion resistance.</li> <li> It prevents floating and cratering and enhances anti-blocking characteristics.</li> <li> It imparts good compatibility properties.</li> <li> It is ued in solvent-based coatings.</li> <li> Efka® SL 3033 has the recommended dosage level of 0.1–1.0%.</li> <li> It has a shelf life of 4 years.</li> </ul> Efka® FA 4600 (old name: Texaphor® Special) by BASF acts as anti-settling agent and dispersing agent. It is a highly concentrated solution of surface-active anionic compounds. It prevents sedimentation and agglomeration of heavy pigments. It does not influence the water resistance of the finished paints. <br>

It prevents floating, cratering and increases scratch and abrasion resistance. Efka® SL 3299 is used in solvent-based wood coatings. Recommended usage level is 0.05–0.3% on total formulation. Efka® SL 3030 (Old name: Efka® 3030) by BASF acts as a slip and leveling agent. It is also used as defoamer and de-aeration aid. It is an organically modified polysiloxane. It exhibits increased scratch and abrasion resistance. It prevents floating and cratering even in excessively high concentrations. It imparts anti-blocking characteristics. Efka® SL 3030 is used in water- and solvent-based industrial coatings, in particular spray applications. Its recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.3%. Efka® PA 4401 by BASF is a dispersing, high molecular weight modified polyacrylate polymer grade. It improves gloss, DOI and reduces flooding problems. From low to high polarity systems, it provides high color strength and shows a wide compatibility. It is recommended for high-quality solvent-based industrial coatings including automotive topcoats and pigment concentrates. Efka® PA 4401 is used for stabilizing inorganic and organic pigments in high quality systems. Efka® SL 3031 (old name: Efka® 3031) by BASF acts as a slip-, leveling- and anti-blocking agent. It is an organically modified polysiloxane in alkylbenzene. Increases slip and surface smoothness. Prevents cratering and decreases pigment floating. Reduces sensitivity to air-draughts and offers compatibility with all medium to high-polarity solvent based systems. Does not influence curtain stability. Possesses high surface activity. Designed for solvent-based metal, wood and paper coatings including UV-cured. Recommended dosage level of Efka® SL 3031 is 0.1-0.3%. It has a shelf life of 4 years. Efka® FA 4644 (Old name: Efka® 5044) by BASF acts as a dispersing agent. It is an unsaturated polyamide and acid ester salts. It reduces the interfacial tension between pigments or extenders and the vehicle. <br>

<li>The recommended dosage level for inorganic pigments is 0.2 – 2.0 % on pigment weight, for organic pigments is 2.0 – 5.0 % on pigment weight and for bentonite gels is 30.0 – 50.0 % on bentonite weight. </li></ul> Efka® RM 1920 (Old name: Rilanit® Special Micro) by BASF acts as a thixotropic agent for paints, printing inks and other coatings. It is a hydrogenated castor oil. Offers very good working and flow properties. Substantially reduces pigment settling. Prevents sagging of thick films on vertical surfaces. Efka® RM 1920 imparts good brushability. Used in most non-aqueous coatings both with and without solvents like primers, fillers and topcoats, based on chlorinated rubber, alkyd resins, epoxy resins and unsaturated polyester. It is also compatible with acrylates, polyurethane, epoxy esters, PVC and PVC copolymers, tar, bitumen, and polyethylene chloride. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Efka® RM 1900 by BASF is a rheology modifier and thickening agent. It is a modified hydrogenated castor oil. It provides excellent sag resistance for non-aqueous formulations. It provides strong thixotropic effects in solvent-based coatings. It is recommended for paint formulations requiring high working temperature. Efka® RM 1900 is designed for solvent-based and solvent-free systems such as epoxy resin paints. Its recommended dosage level is 0.2-2.0%. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Efka® PB 2720 by BASF is silicone-free defoamer. Supports the quick de-aeration of thermosetting resin systems. Efka® PB 2720 is suitable for use in solvent-free and solvent-based coatings. It is designed for UV, self-leveling, roller coater industrial applications. The recommended dosage is 0.1-1.0% of the total coating. It complies with TSCA regulation.
