Efka® PL 4720 by BASF is a high molecular weight acrylic dispersing agent prepared using controlled free radical polymerization (CFRP) technology. It is designed to stabilize both treated and untreated silica-based matting agents. <br>

<li>Efka® PL 4720 has a recommended dosage of 5–10% active additive based on the matting agent. </li></ul> Efka® PX 4310 by BASF is a high molecular weight acrylic block copolymer. It acts as a dispersing agent. It possesses low poly-dispersity index. It improves color development with organic pigments and reduces viscosity. <li>It is suitable for optimum dispersion of carbon blacks.</li></ul> Efka® FL 3740 by BASF is a copolyacrylate-based leveling agent. It exhibits air release properties and eliminates or reduces cratering, fish eyes & orange peel. It improves flow, dispersion, and floating behavior. It prevents air entrapment and optimizes the wetting of the substrate. It modifies the surface tension of the coatings, due to its chemical structure. It is used in a non-aqueous, liquid- and powder coating system. It is also used in alkyd-, epoxy-, acrylic/melamine-, 2-component acrylic-, PVC-, polyurethane- and chlorinated rubber- coatings & nitrocellulose lacquers. The recommended dosage of Efka® FL 3740 is between 0.2 and 1.0% depending upon the formulation. Efka® PX 4701 by BASF is a high molecular weight acrylic block copolymer dispersing agent. It possesses low polydispersity index. It reduces viscosity and exhibits excellent storage stability. It is mostly used in UV-curable, solvent- & water-based inkjet inks, flexographic inks, resin-free pigment concentrates. It is suitable for industrial and automotive coatings.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">

<li>Efka® PX 4701 complies with OSHA and TSCA regulations.</li>
<li>It is highly efficient for organic pigments and carbon blacks and provides a combination of strong viscosity suppression and excellent storage stability.</li></ul> Efka® SL 3288 by BASF is an organically modified polysiloxane. Acts as an abrasion resistant, anti-blocking agent, slip control agent, leveling agent and scratch resistance agent. It improves slip, leveling, surface smoothness and soft-touch effect. It shows minimal effect on foam stabilization and intercoat adhesion. Efka® SL 3288 is used in solvent-based, high gloss- and water-based industrial coatings. Recommended dosage is 0.02-0.2% for solvent-wood coatings, 0.05-0.3% for solvent based industrial coatings, 0.05-05% for UV curing system and 0.02-0.2% for water based paint. Efka® FA 4644 (Old name: Efka® 5044) by BASF acts as a dispersing agent. It is an unsaturated polyamide and acid ester salts. It reduces the interfacial tension between pigments or extenders and the vehicle. <br>

<li>The recommended dosage level for inorganic pigments is 0.2 – 2.0 % on pigment weight, for organic pigments is 2.0 – 5.0 % on pigment weight and for bentonite gels is 30.0 – 50.0 % on bentonite weight. </li></ul> Efka® RM 1920 (Old name: Rilanit® Special Micro) by BASF acts as a thixotropic agent for paints, printing inks and other coatings. It is a hydrogenated castor oil. Offers very good working and flow properties. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Substantially reduces pigment settling. Prevents sagging of thick films on vertical surfaces. </li>
<li>It imparts good brushability. </li>
<li>Used in most non-aqueous coatings both with and without solvents like primers, fillers and topcoats, based on chlorinated rubber, alkyd resins, epoxy resins and unsaturated polyester. </li>
<li>It is also compatible with acrylates, polyurethane, epoxy esters, PVC and PVC copolymers, tar, bitumen, and polyethylene chloride. </li>
<li>Efka® RM 1920 has a shelf life of 2 years.</li></ul> Efka® PX 4700 (Old name: Efka® 7700) by BASF is dispersing agent. It is an acrylic block copolymer produced by controlled free radical polymerization (CFRP). It efficiently disperses and stabilizes high-performance pigments. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is used in solvent-based systems. </li>
<li>It provides excellent viscosity suppression and storage stability. </li>
<li>It is suitable for high-performance applications such as dispersion of organic pigments in inkjet formulations, especially strong-solvent formulations. </li>
<li>It is recommended for dispersing pigments in resins and for low- or resin-free pigment concentrates.</li>
<li>Efka® PX 4700 has a shelf life of 4 years.</li></ul> Efka® PB 2020 by BASF is a solution of silicone-free defoaming substances. It acts as a defoamer. It eliminates foaming and blistering, regardless of whether the air bubbles are caused by the substrate. It is used in printing inks, solvent-based coatings, nitrocellulose lacquers and acid-cured wood finishes especially those applied by curtain coating, two-component polyurethane lacquers. Recommended dosage level of Efka® PB 2020 is 0.1-0.7% on total formulation. Efka® PA 4401 by BASF is a high molecular weight dispersing agent. It is a modified polyurethane for stabilizing inorganic and organic pigments with strong viscosity depressing properties. It provides high color strength while improving gloss, DOI, and flooding resistance. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It offers broad compatibility across low- to high-polarity systems, including nitrocellulose formulations.</li>
<li>It has a tendency to yellow and gel when combined with chlorinated polymers and solvent-free epoxies.</li>
<li>Efka® PA 4401 is recommended for high-quality solvent-based industrial coatings including automotive topcoats and pigment concentrates.</li>
<li>The recommended dosage is 10% of the oil absorption value for inorganic pigments, 25–50% of the BET surface area for organic pigments, and 20% of the DBP absorption value for carbon blacks.</li></ul>
