Attagel® 50 by BASF is an inert powdered gelling grade of attapulgite clay. It acts as a rheology modifier. It is finely pulverized to effectively form colloidal gels in ionic and non-ionic aqueous solutions to provide thixotropic thickening and suspension. <br>

It is finely pulverized to effectively form colloidal gels in ionic and non-ionic aqueous solutions. It provides thixotropic thickening and suspension properties. Recommended for paint and coating applications requiring sag resistance, spatter control, and syneresis control. Attagel® 40 has a shelf life of 5 years. Attagel® 350 by BASF is a attapulgites. It imparts both thickening and suspending properties to slurry systems. It can partially or fully replace sepiolites and gums as primary suspension additives or work as part of a multi-component suspending formula. Attagel® 350 is effective at keeping minerals, nutrients and active ingredients evenly dispersed by preventing settling and syneresis from occurring. Attagel® 19 by BASF is a specialty attapulgite-based rheology modifier. t is an economical grade with a coarse particle size and high gel strength. Provides excellent sag resistance and suspension properties. It requires high shear to disperse. Recommended for certain applications where high residue is acceptable. Attagel® 19 is suitable for asphalt coatings. Attagel® 15 by BASF is aa attapulgite-based rheology modifier. It is an economical grade with a coarse particle size and high gel strength. Provides smooth texture with good spreading properties. It offers an elevated degree of suspension for high density fillers. Recommended for certain applications where high residue is acceptable. Attagel® 15 is suitable for paints and surface coating applications. Attagel® 30 by BASF is a thickener based on attapulgite clay. It is a medium-fine grind and cost-effective thickener. It is easy to incorporate and provides improved feathering and a very smooth and scratch-free surface for further painting. It can be used where particle size and residue are not critical or where superior mixing and dispersion is available. Attagel® 30 is used for asphalt coatings. Attagel® 36 by BASF acts as a very good thixotropic thickening agent. Offers rapid dispersion. Provides thixotropic viscosity build, syneresis (liquid separation) control, pigment suspension, sag resistance, good film build, reduced water sensitivity, improved tint strength/hiding in paints; spatter-, bacteria- and chemical resistance, very good binding and tabletting features and improved extrusion properties. Attagel® 36 gives very good storage stability. Suitable for water- and solvent borne coating systems. Recommended for use in asphalt coating applications, including roof and driveway coatings. Attagel® 20 by BASF is a specialty attapulgite. Acts as a rheology modifier. It gets easily dispersed during formulation. It assists in syneresis control, sag resistance, film build, levelling, spatter resistance, spreadability, feathering, tint strength and hiding. Attagel® 20 is suitable for use in water- & solvent-borne industrial coatings and inks applications.
