Acronal® 700 L

Acronal® 700 L by BASF is a plasticizer. It is an acrylic resin, consisting of a copolymer of n-butyl acrylate and vinyl isobutyl ether dissolved in 50% ethyl acetate. It provides excellent adhesion, good flexibility, and resistance to light aging. Acronal® 700 L is used in combination with nitrocellulose for formulating paper and film coatings, coatings for light metals and plastics, and cellulose lacquers. Recommended applications include interior and exterior industrial metal coatings, concrete coatings, and automotive OEM and refinish coatings.

Acronal® ECO 6716

Acronal® ECO 6716 by BASF is an aqueous dispersion of a styrene-acrylic copolymer with a faint odor and medium viscosity. It offers excellent pigment-binding power, broad formulation flexibility, and an exceptional cost-performance ratio. It provides outstanding resistance to saponification and alkaline conditions, while maintaining low VOC content and being manufactured without added ammonia. Acronal® ECO 6716 is widely used in architectural coatings, textured finishes, EIFS, interior paints, and primers.

Acronal® 4 F

Acronal® 4 F by BASF is a low volatile, light and aging resistant, soft, tacky, high viscosity acrylic resin designed for industrial coating applications.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is used for plasticizing cellulose nitrate and chlorine-containing binders for paper and film coatings, for lacquering and laminating aluminium foil, for coating plastics and for paints for a range of substrates such as metals, concrete and fiber-reinforced cement.</li><li>It offers good flexibility, very good adhesion, good saponification resistance, low degree of polymerization and poor cohesion.</li><li>It shows compatibility with cellulose nitrate, vinyl chloride polymers, polyvinyl ethers, polyacrylates, natural resins, rosin, plasticizers and castor oil.</li><li>Acronal® 4 F can be added to one- and two-component primers to improve adhesion.</li></ul>

Acronal® NX 4787

Acronal® NX 4787 by BASF is an APEO-free, low odor, aqueous styrene-acrylate copolymer dispersion. It exhibits superior water resistance, strength and adhesion to mineral substrates. With its low viscosity, Acronal® NX 4787 is suitable for applications such as paper and architectural coatings. It has a shelf life of 6 months.

Acronal® LR 9014

Acronal® DS 6266 (NB)

Acronal® 296 D na

Acronal® 296 D na is used for producing high-gloss to matt coatings for application on plaster, masonry, fibrous cement, concrete, other indoor and outdoor substrates.

Acronal® EDGE 4247

It provides the foundation for premium performance by uniting the requirements of a primer and top coat. It offers excellent primer properties to a paint like blocking wood tannins and resisting efflorescence through its complete film formation. Acronal® EDGE 4247 offers balanced mechanical properties, excellent film formation, surfactant leaching resistance and gloss retention.

Acronal® 4120

Acronal® 4120 (Old name: Acronal Optive® 120) by BASF is a straight acrylic resin. It is a fine particle size dispersion of medium viscosity, compatible with most of the pigments and extenders used in the coatings industry. Used for high-durability exterior coatings and stains such as semi-transparent stains and textured coatings and contractor, masonry and construction paints. Acronal® 4120 provides very good exterior durability, very good alkali and water resistance, good penetration into porous and chalky substrates and very good shear stability.

Acronal® S 888 S

Acronal® S 888 S by BASF is an anionic aqueous dispersion of a copolymer based on acrylic esters, styrene, and acrylonitrile, containing heat-sensitive self-crosslinking side monomers. It offers good water resistance and resistance to non-polar organic solvents, oils, and lubricants when properly heat-treated. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provides good toughness, high thermomechanical stability, and excellent compatibility with water-based amino resins such as melamine- and urea-formaldehyde resins, enabling enhanced thermomechanical and chemical resistance when required.</li> <li>Acronal® S 888 S is used in coatings.</li></ul>
