Ketjenflex® 8 by Axcentive is an adhesion promoting flexibilizer for solvent-based inks based on NC, PU, vinyl, PA, and PVB. Gloss enhancer for direct printing on paper and foil. Particularly suited for adhesion promotion in lamination inks for multiwall bags. Ketjenflex® 8 complies with AICS, DSL, China IECSC, EU EINECS/ELINCS, Japan ENCS, Korea KECL, NZloc, PICCS, Taiwan TCSI, TSCA, SWISS, REACH and FDA. Ketjenflex® MH by Axcentive is a plasticizing coresin for overprint varnishes and solvent based inks based on NC, PU, and PA. Improves film toughness and aesthetics. Ketjenflex® MH complies with AICS, DSL, China IECSC, EU EINECS/ELINCS, Japan ENCS, Korea KECL, NZloc, PICCS, Taiwan TCSI, TSCA, SWISS, REACH and US FDA. Ketjenflex® 12 by Axcentive is a plasticizer used in inks, coatings and plastisols. Compatible with NC, PVB, CAB, acrylic and PVC/vinyl, resins. Bio-based, safe phthalate replacement. Suitable for food packaging, coatings for children toys and cosmetics. Offers very good processing conditions, low toxicity, no volatility and good resistance to yellowing. Ketjenflex® 12 complies with REACH, SWISS and FDA regulations. Ketjenflex® CP by Axcentive is para-toluene sulfonic acid-based catalyst. It provides fast cure, excellent weathering & exterior durability and high gloss. It does not need any activation and can be readily used. In epoxy resins, it accelerates cationic curing mechanisms. It is used in acid cured amino resins for indoor wood coatings such as floors. It forms the hardener component accelerating the cure of the resin. It is added at 2-3% based on solids to provide maximum cure response. Ketjenflex® CP is also used in melamine systems to promote the cross-linking of hydroxyl-functional polymers with amino-formaldehyde cross-linking agents such as hexamethoxymethyl melamine, especially in coil coatings. It provides outstanding cure, viscosity stability upon oven aging, corrosion/salt spray resistance and excellent adhesion/intercoat adhesion in coil primers. It can also be used in aqueous melamine based veneers. This product is used to catalyze fine chemical reactions such as fatty acid esterification, aldol & enol reactions, nitrosations of alkenes and synthesis of azo dyes. It is also used as a stabilizer for isocyanate prepolymers and as a pH regulator in electroplating.
