Mergal® 395 by Arxada is a water-white, low-odor, liquid preservative. It exhibits good thermal stability in end formulations up to 70°C, is non-yellowing, and is recognized as skin-safe at recommended use concentrations. It is used to control bacterial and fungal contamination in water-based coatings and paints for industrial and household applications. Recommended usage level is 0.34-1.38%.
Mergal® 395 has a shelf life of 36 months. Mergal® 399 by Arxada is a wet-state preservative designed for waterborne systems. It also acts as a fast-acting antibacterial agent for various systems. It is free of CIT and MIT, compatible across a wide pH range, and temperature stable. It is used in paints, coatings and inks. Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.2%. Mergal® 399 has a shelf life of 36 months. Mergal® 174II by Arxada is a liquid in-container preservative designed for use in aqueous paints and coatings. It provides broad-spectrum protection and delivers cost-effective performance at low use levels. It offers headspace protection through the on-demand release of formaldehyde. <br>

It is used as an in-can preservative in paints, stucco/masonry coatings, EIFS coatings, and other coating products where water is a component. Mergal® 186 by Arxada is a water-soluble organic bactericide designed to prevent aqueous based systems. Used as an in-can preservative in paints, stucco/masonry coatings, EIFS coatings, and other coating products where water is a component. Mergal® 186 provides broad color stability. Mergal® K12N by Arxada is an isothiazolinone-based microbiocide. Effective against broad spectrum of bacteria, yeast and mold. It is suitable for systems with a pH of 3-9. Mergal® K12N is used in pigment/clay dispersions and waterborne paints. Mergal® K9N by Arxada is a formaldehyde-free and VOC-free liquid bactericide/ fungicide. It is an in-can preservative with a broad-spectrum of activity against bacteria, yeasts and molds. It is fast-acting and effective grade. It is designed for protection of aqueous coatings systems. Mergal® K9N provides a very good headspace protection. Mergal® GLT25 by Arxada is a formaldehyde-free, wet-state preservative and industrial microbiocide. This grade is suitable for control of bacteria and fungi. It is used in aqueous or water-containing coatings. Mergal® K10N by Arxada is a VOC-free, liquid bactericide/fungicide and industrial preservative. It is a non-skin sensitizing benzothiazolinone formulation. It is used to prevent deterioration and degradation caused by bacteria and fungi in aqueous systems. Mergal® K10N is used in waterborne paints, stucco/masonry-, EIFS-, and other coating products where water is a component.
