Crayvallac® WW-1001 by Arkema is an active dispersion of polyethylene wax in water, conforming to FDA. Used in water-based applications like inks, general industrial coatings, metal decorating, coil coating. Easy to incorporate. Enhances slip. Imparts very good abrasion, scratch and rub resistance. Controls frictional characteristics of coating. Crayvallac® WW-1001 provides surface protection properties. Crayvallac® A-620-A2 by Arkema acts as a surface tension modifier and flow & leveling agent. It is polyacrylate that contains no silicone ingredients and is recoatable and pourable. Improves gloss and DOI. Mostly useful in roller coating and strip coating applications. Crayvallac® A-620-A2 is recommended for generally 0.5% additive solids on total vehicle solids for in spray applications and 1% additive solids on total vehicle solids for roller coating, coil and decorative coating. Should be stored in the original containers in a dry place at temperatures between 5°C (41°F) and 30°C (86°F). Crayvallac® PA4 BA 20 by Arkema is a HAPs-free, composed of a pre-activated amide wax dispersed in a mixture of butyl acetate and alcohol. Used for post-addition to solvent-based industrial coatings. Suited to coatings demanding a higher degree of surface gloss or transparency. Easy to incorporate. Crayvallac® PA4 BA 20 imparts shear-thinning rheology with thixotropic viscosity recovery. Provides little effect on gloss. Possesses good sag resistance, good anti-settle properties and good recoatability. Crayvallac® WN-1265 by Arkema is a micronized amide wax. Used for wood primers. Provides improved sandability. Crayvallac® WN-1265 offers improved mar resistance and enhanced slip. Crayvallac® Flow-200 by Arkema is a 100% active, silicone-free, polyester-based flow and levelling agent. It is designed for solvent-based coil coatings, can coatings, general industry and automotive OEM. It enhances substrate wetting. Crayvallac® Flow-200 produces smoother films with fewer defects. Recommended dosage level is 0.1-2.0%. It has a shelf life of 4 years. Crayvallac® 60X by Arkema is an oxidized polyethylene wax dispersed in xylene. Used in industrial and maintenance coatings, epoxy primers, vinyl primers, anti-fouling paints, road marking paints and chlorinated rubber coatings. It can be easily incorporated. Provides good anti-settle properties, good sag resistance and good recoatability. Crayvallac® 60X can tolerate high processing temperatures. Crayvallac® SF by Arkema is an amide-modified hydrogenated castor oil. Used as rheology modifier. Imparts shear thinning rheology with thixotropic viscosity recovery. Possesses tolerance to high temperatures and strong solvents. Crayvallac® SF offers very good sag resistance. Exhibits good anti-settle properties. Provides good recoatability. Crayvallac® PA4 WDA 12 by Arkema acts as a rheology modifier in paste form for post addition to solvent-based coatings with low polarity systems and also as a levelling agent. It is a pre-activated amide wax dispersed in a mixture of mineral spirit (D60) and alcohols. Imparts shear-thinning rheology with thixotropic viscosity recovery. Exhibits good re-coatability and is easy to incorporate. Crayvallac® PA4 WDA 12 is recommended for 1.0-3.0% anti-settling and 3.0 - 5.0% sag resistance. Crayvallac® A-2201-M by Arkema acts as a surface tension modifier and flow & levelling agent. It is a polyacrylate that contains no silicone ingredients and is recoatable and pourable. Can be added to coating formulations at any step in the manufacturing of paints. Mostly useful in roller applied coatings, thermoset systems and two package urethanes. Crayvallac® A-2201-M is recommended for generally 0.5% additive solids on total vehicle solids for in spray applications and 1% additive solids on total vehicle solids for roller coating, coil and decorative coating. Crayvallac® WN-3025 by Arkema is a polyethylene wax. Used in overprint varnishes, general industrial coatings, can and coil coatings, industrial wood finishing and powder coatings. Offers exceptional rub, abrasion and scratch resistance. Provides very good heat and solvent resistance. Crayvallac® WN-3025 imparts very good slip and gloss retention.
