Voided latex particle. Imparts hiding and functions as a partial replacement for titanium dioxide. Provides a cost effective way to improve hiding while reducing raw material costs. Offers excellent formulating efficiency, block resistance in high sheens, good burnish, touch up and exterior durability. Can be used in interior or exterior coatings from flat to semigloss. CELOCOR® AF by Arkema is a voided latex particle. Improves opacity and hiding in low odor formulations with this ammonia-free opaque polymer. Offers up to 11% better hiding with excellent tint strength properties, excellent efficiency and wide formulating latitude useable across a broad PVC range. CELOCOR® AF is recommended for interior or exterior coatings and may partially replace titanium dioxide in architectural paints.
