Benzoflex™ by Eastman Chemical Company is a series of non-phthalate plasticizers known for their exceptional performance in polymer systems like PVC and PU. These benzoate ester plasticizers enhance the rheological properties of PVC plastisols due to its low viscosity as well as lower processing temperatures due to excellent solvating ability in PVC.
These plasticizers have an excellent degree of compatibility in cast polyurethane systems and are used primarily to reduce the durometer of urethane systems.
Benzoflex™ plasticizers demonstrate excellent inert filler acceptance that provides wear characteristics and lower formulation costs for cast polyurethanes. Common uses include business machine rolls, printing rolls, duplicating rolls, as well as gaskets and seals.
