Vesmody® A406 by Wanhua Chemical is a low odor, hydrophobically modified alkali swellable thickener. It can make a good balance between the middle and low shear viscosity of the system.
- It exhibits good scrub & water resistance, excellent anti-splash, good thermal stability, antimicrobial and enzyme invasion properties.
- It is used coating formulation specially in matt interior paint and matt finishing varnish.
- It can be used alone and in combination with other thickeners to yield good results.
- Vesmody® A406 contains (CMIT/MIT = 3:1) 0.049% as biocides.
