
Crilat 4830 by Vinavil is a low VOC, APEO-, formaldehyde-, plasticizers- & coalescent-free, water-based acrylic dispersion. It is developed with core-shell technology & is self-crosslinkable at room temperature. It offers high gloss, excellent blocking-, chemical- & mechanical resistance and good wet and dry adhesion on old alkyd paints. It is compatible with color pigments paste. It provides excellent rheological properties such as leveling and good color development. It is suitable to formulate high gloss emulsion paints. It is used in water-based enamels with satin features and for different substrates (wall, metal and wood) interior & exterior application for architectural coating. It is recommended for clear and pigmented wood varnishes & stains, topcoats, primers and impregnating. After water evaporation Crilat 4830 makes a continuous, transparent and bright film at room temperature, which guarantees excellent surface properties to the final formulation. The product has a shelf life of 6 months if stored in the original, unopened containers at temperatures between 5 and 40°C.
