Tint-Ayd® AL 317H by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is a free-flowing, solvent-based, carbon black pigment dispersion. It is recommended for oil-based industrial coatings such as general industrial finishes and maintenance coatings. It shows thixotropic characteristics to resist pigment settling and syneresis. It is designed for use in wood & other lacquer coatings and interior applications. It offers no bleed/discoloration to light fastness, and acid & alkali resistance. It is suitable for solvent-based coating systems such as nitrocellulose, polyester, alkyd melamine, long-oil-, medium-oil-, short-oil- and styrenated alkyd. It is compatible with vinyl toluene alkyd, alkyd urea, alkyd-modified urethane, oil-modified urethane, silicone alkyd, bodied oil, epoxy ester, hydrocarbon and phenolic. The shelf life of Tint-Ayd® AL 317H is 4 years.
