Novapint™ D-803

Novapint™ D-803 by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is an APE-free, cost-effective, NIR black iron chromium oxide colorant with excellent solar heat reflective properties. It enables the formulation of dark colors that achieve less heat absorption compared to conventional colorants. It exhibits excellent light- and weather fastness. It is specially developed for water-based façade paints and plasters based on silicate, silicone or synthetic resins. It is calibrated by weight and volume and is suited for use in in-plant tinting systems. It has minimal impact on viscosity, sagging, hydrophobicity, water permeability and interior paints on scrub resistance. Novapint™ D-803 minimizes heat build-up in architectural paint applications for the facade, roofs, window frames and exterior insulation finishing systems (EIFS).
