TiONA® 8140 by Tronox is a very heavily treated chloride-process rutile titanium dioxide pigment. It is designed to give the optimum opacity and tint strength while maintaining film integrity in flat emulsion paints formulated above CPVC. TiONA® 8140 provides easy incorporation and excellent stability in finished paints. It offers excellent brightness, storage stability, high oil absorption providing low gloss and sheen. TiONA® 8140 is used in architectural coatings and printing inks. It is surface treated with alumina, silica and organic.
