PANGEL® S1500

PANGEL® S1500 by Tolsa is a mineral rheological-, suspending- & thixotropic additive for aqueous systems. It imparts excellent pseudoplastic properties.

• It is incorporated to improve stability and spreading properties and offers improved sagging and film thickness.
• It provides great resistance to settling and can avoid sedimentation.
• Under shear stress, PANGEL® S1500 forces the viscosity to promptly fall down, easing manual, mechanical application and leveling.
• It can control system flow and consistency by ensuring optimal distribution of pigments, fillers and other components.
• It is electrolyte-activated, therefore suspensions made with this grade are stable even at high electrolyte concentration.
• It is also stable in broad pH range and at high temperatures.
• It keeps high absorption capacity and high degree of interaction with polymers.
• It is recommended for paints & coatings.
• It is specially suitable for salt rich systems and asphalt emulsions.
• The shelf life of the product is 12 months.
