AR990 by The R.J. Marshall Company is a low-cost aramid and talc fiber. It has high reinforcement strength (high tensile), improved viscosity control and rapid dispersibility. It shows excellent slump- and chemical resistance. It is poly-para-phenylene terephthalamide, one of the strongest synthetic reinforcing fibers known. It is used in elastomeric roof coating.
