MICROSERE® 5897A by The International Group is a high performance, amorphous, malleable and opaque microcrystalline wax with a fine crystal structure. Acts as a hardening agent designed for inks applications. It is a refined mixture of solid, saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons. It is produced by de-oiling certain fractions from the petroleum refining process. It is more flexible, tough and higher in melting point than paraffin wax. It can bind solvents or oil. MICROSERE® 5897A complies with FDA 21 CFR 178.3710 regulation.
