Reactsurf® 2490

Reactsurf® 2490 by Syensqo is an alkylphenol ethoxylates-free (APE), highly reactive, easily incorporated emulsifier and polymerizable surfactant. It is designed for acrylics, vinyl acrylics and styrene-acrylic latex systems. Provides superior functional and aesthetic benefits. It prevents surfactant migration which improves dirt pick-up resistance for exterior coatings. Exhibits low dynamic surface tension, critical micelle concentration, good particle size control, low grit and low foaming. Also exhibits better film hardness and antiblocking effect. It is strategically formulated to address surfactant leaching by improving reactivity and excellent emulsion stability. Reactsurf® 2490 is used in paints, architectural- and paper coatings. It is REACH certified and FDA approved.
