Reactsurf® 0092

Reactsurf® 0092 by Syensqo is an alkylphenol ethoxylates-free (APE), non-ionic, highly reactive, water-based emulsifier and polymerizable surfactant. It is designed for solid epoxy resins mainly for use in industrial coatings, paints and binders. It is a versatile, cost-effective, environmentally- and processing friendly grade. It is recommended for the formulation of high-performance waterborne coatings which can match or exceed that of solvent-based (SB) coatings, with a lower level of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It enables easy handling by combining both characteristic external and internal emulsification phases without any need of additional chemical modification. It contains a highly reactive functional cross-linking group, a perfect balance and synergy between emulsification and epoxidation. Offers good particle size control, optimum emulsion coalescence & consistency without reduction in strength, excellent application performance and paint stability. Emulsions produced with Reactsurf® 0092 exhibits excellent freeze-thaw (F/T) resistance, corrosion resistance with exceptional water whitening properties.
