Addibond™ 829

Addibond™ 829 by Syensqo acts as a conversion and passivation booster. It is a specialty additive which improves paint adhesion to metal (aluminium alloys, electro galvanized and hot-dip galvanized steel). It contains two types of functional monomers - one that binds to a metallic surface and another that reacts with the top organic layer, such as paint.

• It is used for chrome-free conversion treatment and is particularly stable in very acidic environment.
• Addibond™ 829 is suitable for spray, powder & roll painting and lamination applications.
