Ozokerite Wax 1028 by Strahl & Pitsch defined is a white, crystalline, odorless and solid wax. It is defined as blends of hydrocarbon waxes. It is most often made from a mixture of paraffin and microcrystalline waxes and when combined offer broader functionality than the constituent ingredients. It increases viscosity, assist in emulsion stability and enhance gel strength in liquid & semi-solid systems. It is a hard wax with a relatively high melt point and penetration values. It is compatible with a wide variety of solvents, oils, fats, resins, petrolatum and other waxes. Ozokerite Wax 1028 is designed for coatings, polishes and varnishes.
