Ceresine Wax 251 by Strahl & Pitsch is a blend of paraffin and microcrystalline waxes. It is a white, odorless and tasteless solid. It is useful as a melt point modifier and in binding & stabilizing the oil portion of an emulsion. It helps to modify viscosity in liquid and semi-solid formulations. It is compatible with a wide variety of solvents, oils, fats, resins, petrolatum and other waxes. Ceresine Wax 251 is used in coatings, polishes and varnishes.
