STEPSPERSE® 61 by Stepan Company is a novel, APE- and VOC-free, high-performance polymeric (HPP) dispersant and wetting agent for water-borne formulations. Recommended at a dosage of 4-40 % for organic pigments and 5-100 % for carbon black. Offers color development, milling efficiency and excellent resin compatibility with various resin systems with minimal impact on coating properties. Provides excellent jetness and blue undertone with industrial carbon black. It is compatible with acrylic, vinyl acrylic, polyurethane dispersion, styrene acrylic, cationic acrylic/styrene and acrylic/ PUD blend. STEPSPERSE® 61 can be used in industrial coatings such as in automotive applications.
