Blanc Fixe Brilliant (Solvay)

Blanc Fixe Brilliant by Solvay is a chemically precipitated pure barium sulphate (= 97.0 %). It functions as an extender. It is a crystalline powder in appearance. Offers water-, acid-, alkali-, organic solvent-, light- and industrial waste gases (e.g. sulfur dioxide) resistance. Exhibits narrow particle size distribution, white index, chemical purity, excellent dispersion properties and very high gloss. Shows low binder demand, extremely low chloride content and greatly reduced electric conductivity. Suitable for industrial and professional paints & coatings.
