Isobornyl Methacrylate by Smile (Nantong) Chemical is a very useful special UV monomer. It has a unique bridge-ring structure, which gives it special physical and chemical properties. It is a low viscosity, high boiling point, low surface tension and low shrinkage grade.
  • It offers high glass transition temperature, low color, high refractive index, good hydrophobicity and good compatibility with a variety of resins, solvents, pigments and fillers.
  • It is low toxic and non-flammable and is recommended for the application of high-efficiency, energy-saving and environmentally friendly products.
  • On increasing the hardness of the film-forming substance, it can maintain and increases elasticity and can improve gloss, brightness, adhesion, leveling, friction-, aging- & corrosion resistance of the polymer.
  • It is suitable in the synthesis of high-quality acrylic-, polyester-, polyurethane-, alkyd resin and oligomer.
  • Isobornyl Methacrylate is used for radiation curing paints, powder coatings and inkjet.
