Shepherd Black 430 by Shepherd Color is an inorganic pigment. It is a jet-black powder produced by high temperature calcination. It is chemically inert, heat resistant and stable to ultraviolet light.
  • It is non-bleeding, non-migratory and non-warping.
  • It is generally used in applications requiring heat-, light- and weather resistance.
  • Offers high temperature stability and durable color.
  • It is optimized for deep masstone color and has smaller particle size than Black 1G.
  • It exhibits good UV- & visible opacity as well as exceptional durability & hiding power.
  • It is compatible with most resin systems and polymers.
  • It is FDA compliant for coloring articles used for producing, packaging and transporting food.
  • Recommended for high temperature-, coil-, extrusion-, industrial-, liquid- and powder coatings.
  • Shepherd Black 430 is also suitable for transportation and ACE coatings, facade paints, plasters, silicate coatings, inks and dispersion applications.
  • It complies with AP(89)1, AS2070-1999, BfR, CONEG, RoHS, ELV, Packaging - 94/62/EC, GB9685 and WEEE requirements.
