Arctic® Black 10G975 by Shepherd Color is an IR reflective jet black, inorganic pigment. It is highly resistant to acid, base, UV and chemical attack. Offers excellent opacity and high heat stability.
  • It is optimized for a deep masstone, good tint strength, high TSR (Total Solar Reflectance) and low HBU (Heat Build-up) to meet performance and regulatory requirements.
  • It is suitable for wide range of building materials such as siding, extrusions, building panels, roofing and fibers.
  • It can also be used in materials where dark visual color is desired with n-IR refractivity.
  • It is compatible with a wide range of plastics, polymers, paints and coatings.
  • Arctic® Black 10G975 is designed for paints and powder coating applications.
  • It complies with AP (89) 1, AS2070-1999, BfR, CONEG, packaging - 94/62/EC, RoHS and ELV requirements.
