SST® –3PS by Shamrock is a charcoal gray colored low molecular weight PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 5 µm. Acts as a slip, mar/scuff, rub and abrasion resistance agent. Provides slip (low COF), high temperature resistance, gloss retention, rub and abrasion resistance properties. SST® –3PS is recommended in offset and liquid inks. SST®-3PS is also recommeneded for use in powder, water-based, solvent-based, and UV coatings. The recommended dosage of SST®-3PS in ink formulations is 0.5-1% of the total formula weight when used with wax. In coatings SST®-3PS is recommened at 1-2% of total formula weight.
