Texipol® 63-201 is an easy to use, low viscosity, anionic inverse emulsion thickener by Scott Bader. Imparts a stringy and mildly pseudoplastic rheology to aqueous-based compositions. It does not require any neutralisation or addition of other additives to promote thickening. Used in highly filled carpet backing compounds and coatings where stringy & long flow behavior improves the wet tack. It is supplied as a pre-neutralised dispersion as the sodium salt of an acrylic polymer. Texipol® 63-201 can be used at a dosage level of 0.5-2.0 %.
