Texigel® 23-005 by Scott Bader is a high viscosity aqueous solution of ammonia-free sodium polyacrylate. Produces shear-dependent viscosity. It does not add to the bacterial susceptibility of the wet compound. Texigel® 23-005 is suitable for modifying the viscosity of many latex-based coating formulations.
