HPC-6600 by Resonac (formerly Showa Denko) is NMP-free, polyamide imide resin. It possesses high heat resistance, low toxicity and coating hardness. It can be diluted by adding organic solvent for solvent-based products. It can also be diluted by adding water or water-borne material for low VOC water-borne products. HPC-6600 can form the film having high insulation and solvent resistance. It is suitable for bar and spray coating methods. Recommended for use in paint binders for sliding parts such as automotive compressors or engine pistons. It conforms to REACH regulations and is listed in US (TSCA), Canada (DSL), Japan (ENCS), Korea (KECL) and Taiwan.
