Zeocros® CG180

Zeocros® CG180 by PQ Corporation is a unique zeolite based on sodium aluminosilicate. It is used as a cost-effective, high performance titanium dioxide extender in emulsion paints. It has a jagged angular shape and fine particle size which scatter light efficiently. It offers low gloss reduction, high opacity and high whiteness. Exhibits low oil absorption, high hydrophilicity, ease of dispersion, lower paint density and ion exchange properties. It allows the replacement of water softening agents, ammonia and caustic soda, thus reducing exposure to toxic gases/corrosive liquids. It is suitable for use in thin films and in water- & solvent-based paints. It can replace up to 30% titanium dioxide in pigment concentrates. Zeocros® CG180 is registered with REACH, TSCA, AICS and DSL/NDSL.
