TERASIL® 1

TERASIL® 1 by Pflaumer Brothers is a single-component modified hydrogel silane. Offers high gloss, excellent adhesion and excellent penetration.

• Coatings based on product can be clear or pigmented and can be used with conventional urethane-grade solvents such as PCBTF, t-Butyl Acetate, PM Acetate, and TERAFLEX® DME-200.
• Exhibits fast cure properties at various humidity levels.
• It has good abrasion-, chemical- and yellowing resistance.
• It can be used by itself and applied as a moisture-cure system at environmental relative humidity measurements greater than 20%.
• It is made with a simple pump sprayer or quarter-inch nap roller in solvent-based formulations.
• Provides unusual toughness of coatings, fast recoatability and relatively low film thickness.
• It is suitable for metal, wood, concrete, polyester gel coats, and other substrates, both indoor and outdoor.
• TERASIL® 1 has a shelf life of 12 months.
