Polysiloxane copolymer. It acts as a flow & leveling agent, mar resistance agent, slip control agent, scratches and abrasions resistance agent. It is a clear, non-ionic liquid. Its effects are evaluated on intercoat adhesion and recoatability of the film, especially when a high temperature is used for curing. Contributes to the gloss of solvent based formulations and resists cratering & orange peel. Recommended applications include coatings and paints. Use level ranges from 0.1% to 0.3% based on total weight of the paint.
