Omyasphere™ 220 T-FQ

Omyasphere 220 T-FQ is a hydrophobic, lightweight, low density filler by Omya. It is based on closed-cell expanded perlite. Possesses high & consistent brightness, controlled top cut and less weight per volume unit of product applied. Provides lower environmental emissions in the transportation of finished goods, higher yield & increased coating thickness, easier application and processing. Offers savings on transportation costs by replacing conventional fillers such as silica sand while improving coating properties. Exhibits improved thermal emittance, excellent sanding properties and improved storage stability. Used in joint fillers, spackles, elastomeric roof and high reflective coatings for inorganic and organic binder systems. Omyasphere 220 T-FQ is also used in architectural paints and industrial coatings as a second choice.
