Omyacoat 420-IP by Omya is ultra-fine ground calcium carbonate-based mineral filler. It allows optimization of titanium dioxide content based on the opacifying effect. It offers very good dispersibility in water- and solvent-based matt and semi-matt paints. It is a replacement for titanium dioxide and leads to reduction of carbon footprint. It provides optimization of binder content. Omyacoat 420-IP is suitable for matt decorative paints formulation of high pigment volume concentration (PVC), and powder- and industrial coatings.
