NISSO-PB (BI-2000) is a hydrogenated polybutadiene by Nippon Soda. Designed for coatings applications. It is derived by polymerizing butadiene using a living anionic polymerization technique. Exhibits high reactivity, excellent storage stability and excellent long-term chemical stability in terms of light as well as weather resistance. NISSO-PB (BI-2000) offers superior water-, chemical- and heat resistance, electrical characteristics and mechanical strength because its polymer structure is composed of carbon and hydrogen.
