NISSO-PB (B-3000) is 1,2-polybutadiene homopolymer by Nippon Soda. It is a base resin derived by polymerizing butadiene using a living anionic polymerization technique. Possesses 1,2-vinyl content and various derivatives containing functional groups. Provides high reactivity to thermal or light stimulation, high reactivity and excellent storage stability. Because the polymer structure is composed of carbon and hydrogen, it shows superior water and chemical resistance, electrical characteristics, mechanical strength and heat resistance. NISSO-PB (B-3000) is used in water-based and electro-deposition paints.
