Polyvinylpyrrolidone K-90 is a non-ionic polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) polymer by Nippon Shokubai. It possesses good affinity to various polymers & resins, high hygroscopicity, good film forming property, very good adhesiveness and good chelate complex formation property. It shows good solubility with water and organic solvent. Polyvinylpyrrolidone K-90 acts as a pigment & dye dispersant, viscosity modifier and film leveller. It is designed for anti-fogging coatings, anti-fouling coatings and ball-point inks.
