Polyvinylpyrrolidone K-85W is a non-ionic polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) polymer by Nippon Shokubai. It is soluble in water and organic solvent. It possesses good film forming property, good affinity to various polymers & resins, high hygroscopicity, very good adhesiveness and good chelate complex formation property. Polyvinylpyrrolidone K-85W acts as a pigment & dye dispersant, viscosity modifier and film leveller. It is suitable for anti-fogging coatings, anti-fouling coatings and ball-point inks.
