Ingeo™ M700

Supplied byNatureWorks- Last Updated on Jul 5, 2017

Anhydrous meso-lactide stereoisomer. It is a high-purity, next generation lactide, providing solution in terms of processing efficiency [easier processing (below 80°C)], cost effectiveness and higher end-product performance. Exhibits lower melting point. Offers more energy efficient and generally easier manufacturing processes to deliver ester functionality. Being up to two times more susceptible to ring-opening reactions than L-, D- or racemic lactides, it enables less catalyst usage, lower reaction temperatures, faster reaction time and improved throughput. Used as reactive chemical intermediates for co-polymers, amorphous resins, grafted substrates, resin additives & modifiers, coatings, surfactants and solvents.
