METOLAT® 514 by Munzing is a salt of a polycarboxylic acid-based dispersing agent. It exhibits low foam tendencies. It is compatible with many emulsion polymers. It reduces the mill base viscosity and gives higher pigment volume concentrations. It stabilizes the system and prevents the formation of settlements. Suitable for pigments and fillers in aqueous systems. The recommended dosage is 0.1-0.5%. METOLAT® 514 has a shelf life of 15 months.
