EDAPLAN® 494 by Munzing is a VOC-free wetting agent and dispersant for aqueous coatings and pigment concentrates. It is a anionic solution of a high molecular weight copolymer with pigment affine groups in water. It is recommended for the dispersion of organic pigments (e.g. phthalocyanine and azo pigments) and nanoscale transparent iron oxides and titanium dioxides.
- It is used in coating systems, glycol-containing pigment concentrates, and for producing binder-free pigment concentrates.
- It stabilizes pigment dispersions and reduces mill-base viscosity.
- It is used in applications like, printing inks, wood-, industrial- and architecture coatings.
- It is free of APE, biocide and solvent.
- The recommended dosage is 10-50%.
