Poly-G® 55-56 by Monument Chemical is a non-volatile, non-corrosive polyether diol. It is an ethylene oxide-capped diol that produces urethanes with physical properties superior to those achieved with a conventional polyol of equivalent molecular weight. Possesses low pour point and high flash point. It produces urethane elastomers with physical properties approaching those of elastomers based on polytetramethylene glycol, PTMEG. Poly-G® 55-56 is suitable for fast-curing systems, such as thermoplastic urethanes (TPU), reaction injection molded (RIM) and cast elastomers and coatings.
