Hi-WAX™ 1140H by Mitsui Chemicals is a highly crystalline, low molecular weight, polyolefin wax modified by special monomer. Acts as a release agent. It is manufactured by direct polymerization based on Ziegler polymerization technology. Possesses low hardness & softening point and good electrical insulation properties. Exhibits excellent heat & chemical resistance and good thermal stability.
- It is easy to pulverize and shows good miscibility with polyethylene and aromatic hydrocarbon resins such as PS, ABS and polyesters.
- Offers improvement in molding cycle and extrusion properties.
- Possible applications of Hi-WAX™ 1140H include printing inks and pigment dispersing applications.
