Vycar™ 600X10 by Lubrizol is an anionic, high solid polyvinylidene chloride polymer dispersion. It is used as topcoat over primer and provides exceptionally low moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) and oxygen transmission rate (OTR). It is hydrophobic and exhibits excellent chemical and water resistance.
- It is transparent and sealable, with good printability and blocking resistance.
- It is suitable for paper and film coatings on substrates such as biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP), biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BOPET), and biaxially oriented polyamide (BOPA).
