PowderAdd™ 9016 by Lubrizol is a polyethylene wax. It acts as a processing aid during powder production. It improves scratch resistance and provides excellent slip. PowderAdd™ 9016 is designed for powder coatings resin systems based on epoxy, polyester, epoxy/polyester hybrids, urethane and acrylics. It is also suitable for performance coatings. Usage level is 0.2-0.5% based on total formulation weight. The recommended re-test date is 1825 days after date of manufacturing.
