Carboset® RPT-3030

Carboset® RPT-3030 by Lubrizol is a high solid, water-based, 100% acrylic emulsion. It is specifically developed as an elastomeric polymer for primers and topcoats. It can be applied over aged concrete, asphaltic felts, BUR, modified bitumen and single plies including EPDM. Carboset® RPT-3030 shows excellent tensile strength in combination with high elongation capability as well freeze and thaw stability. It offers good dirt pick-up resistance that leads to high solar reflectance and low energy costs. It provides excellent low temperature crack bridging performance, enhancing coating durability, superior fade resistance to UV light and excellent water resistance. It can be formulated at less than 50 g/l (US) and less than 10 g/l (EU) VOC. It is ASTM D6083 compliant for roof coatings.
